AgDevCo

Ismail manages AgDevCo’s investments in Francophone West Africa and oversees AgDevCo’s working capital exposures. Ismail has 15 years' experience in banking, investment, and project management, with an extended period living in Ghana. Prior to joining AgDevCo in 2014, Ismail spent four years with BNP Paribas in Paris in the Energy and Commodity Finance department. He previously worked at the World Bank in Washington DC on transportation projects in West Africa. Ismail has a double Masters in Finance from École des Ponts and in Energy Economics from IFP School in Paris. In parallel to his career in impact investment, Ismail is a professional jazz musician and composer.
