Mansoor Ahmad MBE, Member and Director, AgDevCo Holdings. 

Mansoor is Deputy Group Head, Africa Economic Development and Team Lead for African Agribusiness Investment and Food Trade at the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.

Mansoor has a unique combination of experiences as a Chartered Accountant and International Development professional spanning private and public sectors within the UK and Internationally, whilst also having a disability called Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. Since joining the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office after PwC (where he focussed on the Energy & Mining sector), Mansoor has led on developing impact investment, clean energy and agribusiness markets across Africa and South Asia. He routinely advises governments, investors, philanthropic organisations and businesses on economic development, impact and sustainability.

Mansoor received an MBE in the Queen’s 2021 New Year’s Honours for services to International Development and developing clean energy markets across Africa.

Mansoor also serves as an external member of the Big Issue Invest Impact Committee.
